About
Faith Huang is a novelist and interdisciplinary artist working across installation, writing, painting, and illustration. Her work investigates the tensions between culture and nature, human-made systems and natural systems.
Originally trained in science and engineering, Huang later worked in marketing for one of the world’s largest fast-moving consumer goods companies before becoming a full-time novelist. Her multidisciplinary practice draws from a broad range of fields, including Western feminist theory, anthropology, psychology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, the I Ching, and popular culture.
She is the author of the bestselling Chinese novel Project 30, currently being adapted for film, a two-time TEDx speaker, and the recipient of a full scholarship to pursue her MFA at the Rhode Island School of Design.
